Short Bio

Tobias Stolz is a Center Officer at the Center for Climate and Foreign Policy at DGAP, where he focuses on national and international climate policy issues. A particular focus of his work is on the nexus between climate change and migration.

Prior to his work at DGAP, he worked at Adelphi Consult in the areas of environmental and sustainability policy as well as climate adaptation. He completed his master's degree in Social Sciences at Humboldt University in Berlin, with a thematic focus on migration, and wrote his master's thesis on the German discourse surrounding the Climate Passport proposals. Before that, he finished his Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at the University of Augsburg, with a focus on social movements, and worked in event management for several years. Over the years, he volunteered for various NGOs in the fields of asylum and integration. His areas of interest include climate governance, the impacts of climate change and security.
