Ferdinand Gehringer joined the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in March 2021 and has been a cybersecurity officer in the International Politics and Security Department since November 2021.

His work focuses on: IT security, IT legislation and regulation, critical infrastructure protection, national cybersecurity architecture, cyber capacity building, cyber resilience, hybrid threats, disinformation, cognitive warfare, influence operations, and espionage.
